The Georgia Tech Library opened its doors Sunday, Jan. 6 in the refurbished Crosland Tower, completing phase one of its ambitious Library Next project.
ILL stands for Interlibrary Loan. It is a service provided to request materials (ie: books, journal articles, research papers, etc.) not owned by your home Library from other institutions around the world. ILLiad is the online interface you use to place your requests. At Georgia Tech, this system is also used to place scan requests for items held at the Library Service Center. (For delivery of physical items from the LSC, please place requests through the GT online catalog, not ILLiad.)
Locate historical and real-time global market and economic data, news and historical and current financial information for U.S. and international public companies. Look up deals, government, corporate, mortgage, money market, municipal, preferred, equity, commodity, index, and currency issues; create spreadsheets and graphs. Develop your research skills by taking Bloomberg's online series of classes.
After a late September soft launch, today the Library is proud to unveil its new web site to the Georgia Tech community.
