Starting Your Podcast 4: Audio Editing for Sound Design
Past Class
This four-part series of drop-in workshops covers the beginnings of podcasting: creating your show idea, recording and editing sound, and how to structure an academic podcast.
A podcast is much more than just our voices. Music, sound effects, and generated tones can add (or ruin) a listener’s experience. Featuring the digital audio editor Audacity, this workshop will help attendees learn how to use music, loops, ambient sounds, sound effects, and other sound design techniques to create a rich soundscape for their podcasts.
