
Tech's Tactile Thursdays: Printing a Community Garden

Join the Georgia Tech Library in the Wilby Room, located on Grove Level of Crosland Tower, Thursday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Tech's Tactile Thursdays: Printing a Community Garden.
In this workshop, you will learn the process of printmaking and block printing to create a large-scale, collaborative community garden relief print.

This workshop will be a part of the ImagiNATION Arts and Culture Festival with Georgia Tech Arts. Participants will be briefly introduced to relief printmaking techniques, ink application on the block and proper hand pressing methods. Pre-carved and pre-cut blocks will be provided, as participants will be focused on layering and creating a textured surface to emulate an expressive community garden.
All materials will be provided.
