Library employees honored at awards event

Thursday, May 28 the Library held its annual awards ceremony honoring the employees whose hard work makes the 24-hour operation possible. 

Public Programming and Community Engagement Specialist Catherine Manci won the Frances Kaiser Faculty Award for her exemplary leadership and demonstrated success both as a supervisor and key facilitator in collaborative projects across library departments and campus.

Public Services Associate I Mariah McCauley, Public Services Associate Lead Gabriel Nagel, and Exhibits Associate Connor Lynch won Price’s Pride staff awards for innovations in the Library's data collection, instruction, and exhibitions and arts program. 

Finally, Facilities Manager I Greg Oliver won the Dean’s Choice award for the dedication, reliability, and integrity that he brings to his work, day in and day out.

In addition to the formal awards, Dean Leslie Sharp awarded employees throughout the Library with recognition for "Living Our Values Everyday" (L.O.V.E.). These included:
