Michael Justin Ellis

Justin Ellis, the Digital Learning and Instruction Librarian at the Georgia Tech Library, holds a Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS), a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Georgia. Their responsibilities encompass planning and delivering instruction services, teaching research tools and skills, and collaborating with faculty to develop multi-modal assignments. As a member of the library's Academic Engagement department, they create online instructional materials focused on digital and media literacy. Justin's research interests include the ethical use of artificial intelligence in education, immersive learning with virtual reality, and exploring innovative solutions for bridging the digital divide. They previously served as the service owner for the library's equipment lending program, Gadgets.
