The Long Now Lecture Series @ retroTECH: Hijacked Histories, Polarized Futures by Abby Smith Rumsey

Join the Georgia Tech Library in the retroTECH Lab on the third floor of Crosland Tower on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for The Long Now Lecture Series @ retroTECH. 

The program will feature Hijacked Histories, Polarized Futures by historian Abby Smith Rumsey. Originally delivered in 2023, the talk offers a framework for discussing current social and political tensions and how increasing polarization could shape the future.

The conversation will be facilitated by Reference Archivist Alex Brinson. This drop-in event does not require registration.
