Congratulations to Public Engagement Librarian Charlie Bennett on the upcoming publication of his chapter "Students on the Mic: Active Engagement in Podcast Composition Instruction" in the forthcoming book Emergent Strategy in Library Instruction: Stories, Reflections, and Imaginings.

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Outreach Dr. Aisha Johnson's recent discussion facilitation at a Gwinett Public Library screening of Rodney Freeman's documentary, Are You a Librarian? was recently featured on the Georgia Library Association's Spotlight blog. Thursday, May 28 the Library held its annual awards ceremony honoring the employees whose hard work makes the 24-hour operation possible.

Water Damage in Price Gilbert; FRZ, 3rd Floor Computing Zone, Scholars Event Theater Closed for Repairs
Due to a recent mechanical failure, the Price Gilbert Library experienced flooding and several areas of the building have sustained significant water damage.
