Worlds in Motion: Exploring Interactive Media and Emerging Technology

Join us Tuesday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  in the Scholars Event Theater, located on Price Gilbert's first floor, for a dynamic discussion on how augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), extended reality (XR), immersive storytelling, and interactive systems are shaping creative practice and research today.

Featured Panelists:

• Alison Valk – Emerging Technologies Librarian focusing on research related to XR, immersive media and digital storytelling, blending narrative and technology;
   
• Kelly Williams – Post-Doctoral Fellow exploring XR and virtual environments for research and experiential learning; and 
   
• Meryem Yilmaz Soylu – C21U Researcher exploring how emerging technologies such as XR, artificial intelligence, and learning analytics can transform teaching.

The event will feature a moderated panel discussion followed by audience Q&A, bringing together a cross-disciplinary audience of students, faculty, and industry professionals. Refreshments will be served.
