Join us Wednesday, April 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Interactive Media Zone (IMZ), located on Price Gilbert's Grove Level, for New & Noteworthy, a special pop‑up celebration and the grand opening of four brand new Library resources.

You’ll have hands‑on opportunities to learn about each new resource, talk with Library staff, and learn how these additions can support your coursework, creativity, and research. Want to keep exploring? Visit the additional locations across the Library to see the new services where they live.

To make it even more fun, you’ll receive a Library Passport to stamp at each stop. Turn in your completed passport for a chance to win giveaway prizes — a little extra motivation to discover everything new and awesome!

Come see the glow‑up, grab some goodies, and leave inspired by what the Library now has to offer.

ABOUT THE NEW SERVICES

Laptop Lockers
Launching April 1, Laptop Lockers will provide a new self-service way for Georgia Tech students to check out laptops quickly and conveniently. Located in the General Computing Area on the third floor of Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, the Laptop Lockers allow users to borrow and return laptops using their BuzzCard, helping reduce wait times and improve access to technology — especially during busy periods and late-night hours.

24/7 Supply Vending Machine at the Library
Need last‑minute school supplies during a late‑night study session? The Georgia Tech Library now has a 24/7 Supply Vending Machine stocked with essentials like markers, pencil leads, glue sticks, index cards, and more. You’ll find it on the Grove Level of Price Gilbert by the entrance to the third floor of Clough. The machine accepts credit cards and mobile payments for quick and easy checkout.

Podcast Rooms
The Library's new Podcast Rooms will allow users with audio-related projects and assignments to have another space on campus tailored to their needs. Outfitted with hexagonal 200 Hz DecoShape Acoustic Panels, the rooms -- located in Clough 342 and Price GIlbert 2217 -- have been upgraded with a stylish new look and increased functionality.

Gaming Collection
The Georgia Tech Library’s new Gaming Collection offers access to the latest titles for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox -- providing a fun and engaging outlet right in the Library. From strategy and world‑building, to sports, indies, and story‑rich adventures, the Gaming Collection fuels creativity, inspiration, and collaboration. Whether you’re battling through new worlds, teaming up with friends, or exploring games as a medium for storytelling and design, this collection has it all.
