Demystifying VR (Virtual Reality): Meta Quest 3 Playground workshop

Join the Georgia Tech Library Tuesday, March 11 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Crosland Tower Fourth Floor Classroom, room 4160, for our Demystifying VR (Virtual Reality): Meta Quest 3 Playground workshop.

Are you curious about how VR headsets work? Would you like an opportunity to try them out, learn to navigate the universal screen and get more oriented with the new Meta Quest 3?  

Join us for an informal learning event where you can try out the headsets and a variety of immersive environments including virtual games, meeting rooms and other experiences. 

Attendees will learn about the Meta Quest Headset, using the controllers, how to select and install apps and how the Library can support VR/ XR interests. This session will provide up to 20 individual headsets for use. 

Specialists will be on hand to answer questions, whether you are a student wanting to try new technologies or an educator looking to integrate these technologies into a class or activity. This session will allow you the opportunity to experience emerging technologies first-hand.
