Patricia Kenly named state recipient of the Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award
Congratulations to our own Patricia Kenly, who was recently named state recipient of the Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award for 2024 from the ALA’s GODORT (Government Documents Round Table).
The Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award recognizes document librarians who have made significant contributions to the field of state, international, local, or federal documents. This award recognizes those whose contributions have benefited not only the individual's institution but also the profession.
GODORT recognized Kenly for her committee work and officer positions in several professional library organizations. She has chaired the Georgia Government Information Interest Group (GIIG) and served on the Georgia State Depository Plan Committee. For many years she has actively participated on the Government Information Committee of the ACRL Science and Technology Section.
