Georgia Tech will host a screening of the Emmy-nominated documentary Picture a Scientist on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m. The documentary highlights gender inequality in science and tells the stories of prominent female researchers.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring members of the Georgia Tech community sharing their own stories and experiences as women in STEM.
This event will be held in-person in the Scholars Event Network Theater, located on the first floor of Price Gilbert Memorial Library. Students, staff, faculty, and community members with an interest in making STEM fields more diverse, equitable, and open to all are invited to join us in this shared experience.
