Longtime Library employee and Public Services Assistant Derrick Foster recently received a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB) Staff Fellowship.
As part of the Keen-funded fellowship, Foster will implement a transformative project for undergraduates to increase the number of Black, Latin, first-generation, and limited-income undergraduates.
“Derrick has a long history of contributing his unique and insightful voice to the Library’s work,” said John Mack Freeman, Head of Public Services Librarian. “I’m excited for him to have this opportunity to share his insights on storytelling and effective communication to students through this staff fellowship.”
