“I’m proud to represent Georgia Tech, and academic libraries, on the board of NISO,” said Sharp. “Our experts routinely engage in NISO’s cutting-edge education program of webinars, virtual conferences and training series, so I’m proud to contribute to their important and vital work.”

Sharp joins Laura Cox (Senior Director, Publishing Industry Data, Copyright Clearance Center), Cynthia Hudson Vitale (Associate Dean for Technology Strategy & Digital Services, Johns Hopkins University), Alison Larkin (Associate Director, Peer Review Services, IEEE), and Monica Westin (Associate Director, Content and Discovery, Manchester Metropolitan University and Member, COUNTER Board of Directors).

To fulfill this mission, NISO engages with libraries, publishers, information aggregators, and other organizations that support learning, research, and scholarship through the creation, organization, management, and curation of knowledge.
