Architecture Books Now in Hinman

The Architecture Library (housed in the College of Design west building) closed in early May due to the College’s desire to renew and utilize the space. Despite the change, resources and expertise are, as always, available.

The Architecture Core Collection — those books, resources and materials most used by students, faculty and staff — is in Hinman 208.

Fall Semester access to the collection is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and via LENDS.  Users can also request items to be picked up at the Library Store.

Cathy Carpenter will continue to be the liaison to the College of Design.

When Library Next construction finishes in 2020, the Architecture collection will move back into the Price Gilbert building, with the rest of the core collection (currently housed in the Library Service Center, an off-site, state-of-the-art cold storage facility).
