Public Programming Librarian

Georgia Tech Library seeks an innovative and engagement-focused librarian for the Public Programming Librarian position. The position enriches the student experience and supports the broader Georgia Tech community by developing programs, events, and outreach initiatives that connect students, faculty, and staff with library resources, services, collections, and research. The position fosters an environment centered on engagement, collaboration, and partnership by cultivating relationships across campus and creating opportunities that strengthen connections between the Library and the Georgia Tech community on campus and off. 

The Public Programming Librarian advances the Library's mission through the development and delivery of dynamic programming and outreach activities that respond to emerging campus needs and evolving student interests. The librarian provides support for planning, developing, and delivering engaging events and outreach initiatives that support the Georgia Tech community including students, faculty, and staff. In addition, this position conducts outreach and develops partnerships with colleagues and units across campus to increase awareness of library services, highlight Georgia Tech research and scholarship, and foster meaningful engagement with library resources. Through innovative programming and strategic collaboration, the Public Programming Librarian creates inclusive opportunities for learning, discovery, and community building.
