"Bubbling Up" Faculty Mixer: Education Beyond the Traditional Classroom

4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Faculty Research Zone, fourth floor, Price Gilbert

Join colleagues from across Georgia Tech on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 4:30 — 6 p.m. in the Faculty Research Zone on the fourth floor of Price Gilbert Memorial Library for the Bubbling Up Faculty Research Social.

This informal faculty mixer is designed to spark new connections, conversations, and collaborations around a timely theme: Education Beyond the Traditional Classroom.

There is no formal program or presentations. Instead, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with colleagues from across campus.
  • Expand their professional networks.
  • Discuss emerging ideas and challenges.
  • Explore potential research and teaching collaborations.

Faculty whose work includes experiential learning, community engagement, lifelong learning, global partnerships, informal education, outreach, or innovative approaches to teaching and scholarship are encouraged to attend.

The event is hosted by Leslie Sharp, dean of Libraries, and William "Bill" Gaudelli, dean of the College of Lifetime Learning.

The Georgia Tech Library will provide the space, snacks, and refreshments. Attendees are encouraged to bring their ideas, curiosity, and energy.

Come connect, converse, and discover what bubbles up.

The Bubbling Up series is hosted by the Georgia Tech Library in partnership with the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty.
