
Beginning Video Editing principles with DaVinci Resolve


Join the Georgia Tech Library Thursday, March 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Crosland Tower Second Floor Classroom, room 2130, for our Beginning Video Editing principles with DaVinci Resolve workshop.
In this free, 90-minute workshop, participants will get an introduction to DaVinci Resolve, a powerful video editing software which can be used to create pitch videos, personal statements, interviews, educational tutorials and a variety of creative work.
There is a free version available for your laptop or you may use the version in our classroom.
The session will cover essential features like editing timelines, media pool, transitions, text/annotations and visual effects. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a basic understanding of how to navigate DaVinci Resolve, how to import footage, perform basic editing and effects, adding text, transitions and how to export a final project.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on session will provide practical insights and tips. Registration is required.
