The Library Student Advisory Board serves as a liaison between the student body and library administration, offering insights that directly enhance the academic experience. The Board represents student interests and advocates for a student-centered environment that enhances learning, research, and community.

Members serve a one-year academic term with meetings held twice a semester (September, November, February, and April).

The Library Student Advisory Board (LSAB) is seeking students to serve as the voice of the student body. The best way to improve our library is to listen to the people who use it most. Joining the Student Advisory Board is your opportunity to influence how your peers learn, collaborate, and succeed. 

We are looking for graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines to offer input and provide feedback on our resources, physical spaces, and service models. Board members help guide library initiatives that support academic success, innovation, and community engagement. 

The Details:

  • Term: Academic year (with potential for re-appointment).
  • Meetings: Twice a semester in the Fall and Spring (Sept, Nov, Feb, April).
  • Application Window: Recruitment begins in May 1, 2026
