Marlee Dorn Givens
Marlee Dorn Givens is Team Lead for Instruction and Scholarly Research, Library Learning Consultant, and subject librarian for Modern Languages, Psychology, and Literature, Media, and Communication. Marlee's responsibilities involve supporting faculty and students in these disciplines, conducting library skills instruction across the campus, and facilitating learning among library employees. She previously served as Strategic Initiatives Manager, overseeing data entry for the GTScholar faculty profile system project, and led the IMLS-funded Galileo Knowledge Repository (GKR) in Georgia. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Marlee managed the NEH-funded Preservation Services department at LYRASIS. She completed two certificates in learning design from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and received the Frances Kaiser Award from the Georgia Tech Library in 2021. She has an MLS from the University of Maryland, an MA from the University of Georgia, and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
