Open Scholarship Librarian (Librarian II, III, or IV)

The Library at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for an innovative librarian will lead and support Library initiatives to preserve and sustain long-term access to Georgia Tech scholarship and research outputs in digital form, furthering the Library's mission to define excellence in the preservation, curation, and stewardship of the Institute's unique digital assets. This position reports to the Head of the Archives, records Management, and Digital Curation Department. The Librarian will participate in library-wide committees, activities, and working groups, and in meetings, workshops and trainings, for continued professional development, to remain informed and engaged with relevant current trends.

This is a 12-month non-tenure track faculty position with an effort distribution of 80% librarianship, 10% scholarship and creative endeavors, and 10% professional service to the library profession. Up to two (2) years credit for previous professional experience may be given at the time of employment, in which case such credit will be stated in the offer letter.

The Georgia Tech Library Faculty may enjoy flexible work schedules, teleworking (up to 2 days post-training), professional development, and a healthy work-life balance. This is not a remote position, but some teleworking hours are supported.

Electronic Resources Librarian (Librarian I, II, III, or IV)

The Library at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a collaborative and knowledgeable librarian to manage the lifecycle of the library's electronic resources and serials, access, administration, and support. The Electronic Resources Librarian will work collaboratively with Technical Services librarians and staff to ensure a unified strategy for e-resource acquisition, discovery, delivery, and integration of scholarly resources. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services this position will serve as the Service Owner for E-Resource management and participate in strategic decision making as a core member of various internal and external committees. The Electronic Resources Librarian will provide expert advice regarding e-resource acquisition and management to inform and support the Georgia Tech Library collection development strategy and be a responsible steward. 

This is a 12-month faculty position with an effort distribution of 80% excellence in assigned duties, 10% scholarship, and 10% professional service to the library profession. Up to two (2) years credit for previous professional experience may be given at the time of employment, in which case such credit will be stated in the offer letter. The Georgia Tech Library Faculty may enjoy flexible work schedules, professional development, and a healthy work-life balance.

This is a hybrid position, regular onsite time along with some teleworking hours is supported.
