Directions & Parking

I-85, I-75, GA-400 (coming from the North):

1. Take North Avenue Exit 249D.
2. Take exit ramp to stoplight and turn right onto North Avenue.
3. Proceed 3/10 of a mile and turn left into the Area 1 Visitor Lot.
4. Follow walking directions.

I-75, I-85 (coming from the south):

1. Take Exit 249D. Continue straight one block to West Peachtree Street.
2. Turn left on West Peachtree Street.
3. Proceed one block to North Avenue and turn left.
4. Proceed 4/10 of a mile and turn left into the Area 1 Visitor Lot.
5. Follow walking directions.

North Avenue (coming from the east):

1. Take North Avenue past the football stadium (Techwood Drive).
2. Turn left into the Area 1 Visitor Lot.
3. Go to walking directions.

Parking Fees:

The Area 1 Visitor Lot is $2.00 per hour with a $20 maximum ($20 for lost ticket). The Library is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the lot. For more information, please visit the GT Visitor Parking page.

Walking from the Area 1 Visitor Lot:

1. Exit the lot and turn left on North Avenue.
2. Walk 1/2 a block to Lucky Street cross North Avenue at the crosswalk and turn right to come back down North Avenue to Cherry Street, turn left.
3. Walk 2 blocks down Cherry Street where you will dead end into the Library.

Tech Trolley:

The Tech Trolley provides a direct connection to campus from the Midtown Station. Exit the trolley at the Transit Hub noted on our Interactive Map for easy access to the Library.

Walking:

Exit at North Avenue Station and walk west on North Avenue. Take a right onto Cherry Street, The Library is at the end on Cherry Street. This route is approximately 15 minutes.

I-85, I-75, GA-400 (coming from the North)

4. Go through the traffic light (Bobby Dodd Way) and turn left onto Fourth Street.
5. Fourth Street terminates at the G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons Library shipping and receiving is located at the Clough Commons loading dock.

I-75, I-85 South (coming from the South)

1. Take Exit 249D. Continue straight one block to West Peachtree Street.
2. Turn left on West Peachtree Street.
3. Proceed one block to North Avenue and turn left.
4. Take a right onto Techwood Drive (parallel to stadium).
5. Go through the traffic light (Bobby Dodd Way) and turn left onto Fourth Street.
