Ameet Doshi is Director of Innovation and Program Design, and Subject Librarian for the School of Public Policy and Law at Georgia Tech. He holds a Master’s in Information Science (MLS) from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. His research interests include: bibliometrics, assessing the user experience, sustainability in library design, and designing library and learning spaces. Mr. Doshi has presented at the ALA, ACRL, and the ARL Assessment national conferences, and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Learning Spaces. In addition, Ameet is co-host of a podcast about libraries called "Lost in the Stacks" on WREK Atlanta. Each week he and his co-hosts free associate an hour of music and library talk over the airwaves in Atlanta. Since 2016, Ameet has served on the ALA Center for the Future of Libraries advisory board. The Center focuses on emerging trends and provides a forum for sharing ideas and exploring joint solutions to the challenges facing libraries and society.
