Editing and Adjusting Graphics with Photoshop (Online)

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Online

Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image-editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual  communicators, and regular people like you.

Pictures in things such as  posters, books, magazines, and brochures are often created or edited in Photoshop.

In this online session, we will experiment with variety of Photoshop tools and techniques to get you started. We will cover things such as: Liquify, cloning tools, spot healing, blending images using layer masks, examples of portrait retouching, adjusting image brightness/contrast and creating special effects.

Topics vary in workshops: A more detailed agenda of topics will be sent to the email you provide, closer to the time.

*Important: If you want to try hands on exercises during the class session and do not already have access to Photoshop, you will need to log into Photoshop via Georgia Tech's Vlab prior to the session starting for a hands on experience. Georgia Tech Log in required for access to this resource. Information will be sent to you prior to the session at the e-mail you register with.

It is recommended you have dual monitors or a split screen mechanism for this event so you can watch the demo and presentation while attempting exercises at the same time. A way to view the presentation and have Photoshop open on another screen is best practice, but not required if you don't want to try exercises.

If you would prefer to take this class in a classroom environment, we offer in-person sessions.

Updates and information on the class, such as cancellations or rescheduling, will be sent to the e-mail you provided on your registration form.
