The Georgia Tech Library’s “We are Library Next” video, produced with Washington, D.C.-based partner HIllmann and Carr, brought home three Association of Research Libraries “ARLy” film awards Thursday, May 9.
The roughly one-minute video, produced to spread awareness of the Library’s historic transformation organizationally, online and through renewal, garnered awards for Best Free-Form Video, Best Production, and Best in Show, a tie with the University of Michigan (an Arly first).
“This has been a true team effort,” said Dean Catherine Murray-Rust. “I could not be prouder of the work we accomplished with our partners at Hillmann and Carr.”
Other winners included Penn State Libraries, the University of Minneapolis Libraries, and the University of Utah’s J. Willard Marriott Library.
The awards ceremony was held at the University of Minnesota during the ARL’s 174th Association Meeting.
